The process of managing laundry with RFID tags:
Registering clothing information
First, enter the basic information of the clothing, such as code, name, category, department and user, etc., to facilitate subsequent management and tracking.
Print and fix the label
Write the clothing information into the chip of the RFID water-washing label, and the relevant content can also be printed on the label. Then, fix the label on the clothing to ensure that the information is bound to the clothing.
Clothing distribution
The clothing with the bound label is counted through the RFID reader or scanner, and the system will automatically generate a report to ensure that the clothing is distributed to the designated person.
Classification and storage of dirty clothes
After the dirty clothes are collected after use, the tags are read by fixed RFID reading and writing equipment. The system automatically records the storage time, operator and other information, and can print storage vouchers for easy management.
Classification and outbound storage of clean clothes
After washing and drying, the clothes are classified again by RFID tags, and the system records the outbound information, and then the clothes are sent to the corresponding use department.

For example, a typical ultra-high frequency (UHF) RFID laundry tag – the size is about 70mm x 15mm, the material is soft and waterproof, it can withstand high temperature and high pressure, and is suitable for repeated industrial washing. The chip uses UCODE® 9, with a storage capacity of 96 bits of EPC and 32 bits of user area, fast writing and reading speed, and data protection time of up to 20 years. The product is guaranteed to support 2 years or 200 industrial washings (whichever comes first). The operating temperature range is -25℃ to 110℃, and the storage temperature range is wider, which realizes efficient and durable clothing management.
