Memory Options

The MIFARE® DESFire® EV3 comes in three memory configurations:

  • 8K: Designed for complex, multi-application environments like smart cities and large enterprises.

Each configuration supports multiple applications, with the ability to store up to 32 files per application, allowing businesses to tailor solutions to their needs.

  • File size is determined during creation (not for Transaction MAC file)
  • MlsmartApp (Delegated Application Management)
  • Memory reuse in DAM applications (Format Application)
